Exceptional Napoleonic Period Portico Clock
France
Circa 1805
This sumptuous Portico clock in black marble is embellished by an important and beautiful ornamentation of leaves and palmate work in finely chased "bronze dores".
The clock is supported by 4 bronze dores claw feet. The dial is marked "Pichon a Paris" ( 1800-1812).

French Champleve and Onyx Mantel Clock
France  -  Circa 1860
Lovely Mantel Clock in green Onyx with a bronze dore "Cupidon" figural top and hand painted flowers on the enameled dial surmounted by an ormolu decor. The champleve all around enhances the onyx color .
The clock has a 8 days time and strike movement and time is given by 2 handmade gracious hands.
Made in Paris Ca 1860 (marked inside between 1855 and 1870) by Vincenti and Cie.

Excellent Condition with 2 yr warranty on moving parts

Rare French Crucifix Wall Clock

France - Circa 1840
This very unusual striking Crucifix clock goes on a wall. It has a magnificent "bois dore" frame with a Christ in "bronze dore" on an ebony wood cross in the center of the frame.
The time is indicated by gilded Roman numerals shown on a dark green lacquered metal globe revolving above the figure of the Christ .The clock movement goes with 8 days time and strikes the hours on a gong.
The frame ,the crucifix and the clock are covered by a movable glass window itself framed in bois dore.
The clock has its pendulum ,its key and was completely revised . A 2 years warranty comes with it.

Clock has open pendullum and enameled dial with blue Roman Numerals. Marked inside "Aux Mille Pendules" Paris,27 Blvd des Italiens. Samuel Marti, Medalle de Bronze. (S. Marti was awarded bronze medal in Paris in 1870).

Excellent condition.

French Hermaic Clock     France - Circa 1825
In the Roman world, cross-roads were often marked by a quadrangular boundary stone ("herme") surmounted by a mythological figure head and bust without arms. This magnificent Hermaic clock is representing Homer head & bust in a patinated dark brown bronze over a Verona yellow marble boundary stone.
The dial is "bronze dore au mercure" and the clockwork works with a silk thread. The clock strikes every half and full hour. It has been entirely revised. Parisian work ,Charles X Period

Description: Beautiful and rare Hexagonal Wall Clock in ebonized wood called Tableau de Morez. Clock comes from the city of French Jura. Clock has marble face with enameled plates bearing the roman numerals of each hour. Face is also encased by Bronze, and inlay of semi-precious stones and mother of Pearl.
