Louis XV style gilded bronze and crystals Chandelier

France - Circa 1880

"La Lumiere en Cage" for this very elegant chandelier with a frame in Bronze Dore composed of stems forming a bird cage.
The metal skeleton has scrolled shapes covered with a multitude of crystals plaquettes and in the center of the cage a beautiful crystal "poignard" (dagger). The Chandelier has 8 lights arms and its end's up with a gorgeously cut crystal sphere.
USA wired. Hanging hardware included.

French Wrought Iron Chandelier

France - Circa 1880

Painted in very dark green this wide Chandelier is beautifully decorated with dore brass acanthus leaves in its center and under each candle support. The bobeches and the ceiling cap are also dore .
Has 6 light arms recently USA wired.
This unique Chandelier will look fabulous everywhere but even more inside a room with beams on the ceiling or outside, under a porch.

Louis XVI style crystal and brass Chandelier

France - Circa 1950

Beautiful condition for this vintage Louis XVI style Chandelier having 9 light Arms.
The shaft is in crystal from top to bottom, covering a fluted silvered rod which provides the mechanical sturdiness.
This Chandelier was designed with 3 levels of decoration. Lower level are the 9 polished brass arms for the candles with wonderfull large crystal plaquettes and drops pending. Middle and top have each 6 polished brass branches with hanging crystal plaquettes and drops as well. At each level, a guirland of small crystal pearls surround all the branches, providing a decorative effect. USA wired.

Rare Art Deco "Fontaine" Chandelier in Baccarat Crystal

France - Circa 1920

This gorgeous Chandelier from the 1920's get its name from the shimmering of faceted crystals sprays running down to the basin.
Its "frame" is 2 brass circle -invisible as both covered by crystal -linked by 3 small chains, invisible as well.
The largest circle (bottom) connects to the 6 light arms, each having a crystal bobeche with 10 crystal mirzas (sort of prism) pending .
The upper circle has 6 little crytal arms with pending faceted drops.
On the 2 levels a crystal guirland is surrounding the arms in a very decorative manner.
Finally, 5 circles of mirzas in decreasing diameter toward the bottom (more than 200 in total) are sort of figuring the basin.

			French Empire Chandelier France - Circa1815 Chandelier in form of an Antique lamp in both black and dore patinated bronzes having an incredible delicacy of chasing. In the center are 3 Fauns supporting a simulated cup,having the upper body and head of young men ,the upper part of legs covered by a golden fur and very long lower part terminated by claws.There is a Faun little tail above their naked buttocks.. The 3 have their left hand on the hips and their right arm extented.They stand on a plateau supported by "a godrons" half sphere from which depart the 3 lights branches chased with palmates and scrolls.
