18th Century Italian Marble Carvings of Joseph and Mary

Italie - Circa 1820

18th Century Italian school Marble Medallions of The religious figures, "Joseph and Mary". Each Medallion has been independently framed in a much later Oak Frame. The carvings were probably originally hung in a Church. The Marble has been carved by a master who added a light patina to the top of the marble in order to accentuate the carving.

This panel depicts in Japanese Art, Raijin, god or kami of thunder and lightning terrorizing 6 women who happen to be outdoor and probably the 3 one we can barely see inside the house behind the bamboo wall. 			Oil on Canvas by Christian Schneider France - Circa 1981 Christian Schneider (1917-1997) was an authentic French School Painter.He is known for his Marine landscapes paintings. This one is about the small bay of "L'Aber- ildut",next to the city of Morlaix (Finistere Departement) at the most western part of Brittany and France by consequence. Measurements : height: 20 in. (51 cm) depth: 2 in. (5 cm) width/length: 30 in. (76 cm)

			Antique engraving of "Algeria" by Raimond Bonheur France - Circa 1850 Original steel engraving done by Laguillermie and Rainard "Paris", drawn and hand colored by Raimond Bonheur, and A. M. Perrot The map represents "Agerie, Colonie Francaise' and it is held at the top by the Napoleon III EImperial Eagle by the Beak. It is illustrated by a lot of percentage (Arabs and Europeans" as well as two "Putti" at the Top. On each side a detailed description of historical, Geographical , climate and plants highlights of Algeria. Bottom right it's population ca. 1849 detailed by country of origin Arabs, French, Spanish etc. This map is in a beautiful frame and protected by a glass eglomise in black with a gold band. Dimensions: Frame is 26" x 20" and map is 18" x 12.5"

			Antique Engraving of "Europe" Drawn by Raimond Bonheur with Eglomise Frame France - Circa 1850 Original steel engraving done by Laguillermie "Paris", drawn and hand colored by Raimond Bonheur, the father of Rose Bonheur as he was a painter. Interesting document on Europe Ca 1850 with it's far eastern border called "ussie d'Europe" limited by Oural Mountains. The top of the map represents "Civilized Europe resting on it's glory and it's raise being projected on the banners of it's diverse population". The coat of Arms of the strongest states of the map. The bottom of the map has little Angels representing "Trade and the "Arts". This map is in a beautiful frame and protected by a glass eglomise in black with a gold band. Excellent condition. Measurements: height: 20 in. (51 cm) x width/length: 26 in. (66 cm)
