Louis
XVI Armchairs
Graceful
pair of lacquered cabriolets with superb medallion shape back rest, so
typical of Louis XVI style. The armrests are curved in the back and end
in front with a scroll resting on curved and molded console joining the
chair front molded cincture. Notice the so typical roses on each front
cube which assumes the link between the frame and the fluted legs.
Structure in beech wood, Circa 1880. Very comfortable with loose down
cushions on the seats and in perfect condition except for the fabric
which shows severe wear on the armrests.
