			Pair of Rare French Rocaille style Gilded Bronze Candlesticks   This pair made Circa 1850 is a sumptuous replica of the Rocaille style, so popular under Louis XV, between 1720 and 1750. The gilded bronze and its chiseling is of superb quality and shows the acanthus leaves, the garland, the opening in the base featuring grotto and the asymmetric construction typical of Rocaille style. Each candlestick is made of 3 assembled pieces: the large base, the little neck and the socket designed to fit a wide candle (2.5” diameter). These candlesticks will look great on any piece of furniture and at each end of a set diner table. In perfect condition. Dimensions 6” diameter and 5.5”H.

			Pair of Silver Plated Bronze Candlesticks A very elegant pair of silver plated bronze candlesticks typical of mid 18th century style, made second half of 19th. The octagonal shape motive reproduces itself on the base, the vertical stem and the socket. On the top of the detachable nozzle, there ledges feature as drip pans, designed to catch the dripping wax. The nozzles fit into the sockets and hold the candles as well. The columns unscrew from the base. It stands 9 ¾” high and the base is 5 3/8” diameter. In perfect condition, except for a small horizontal crack on each of the dripping pans, these lovely candlesticks would look great in any room, many furniture and on set dining table.
